Hut Pointe Inn Guest Information-Car and Taxi

The island of Eleuthera is not really set up for walking, so no matter where you stay, you will need to rent a car. We do not have any proper car rental agencies on the island, just people who rent their personal cars. This is a list of local people who rent cars, most of whom we have used ourselves. Please feel free to contact any one of the people below to schedule your rental car. Remember to “Keep Left”, when driving on Eleuthera!

To Get to Hut Pointe Inn from Governors Harbour Airport, go south on Queens highway for approximately 6 minutes. You will pass turn offs for Banana Beach on the left, then Freedom Estates on the left...after the Freedom Estates turn off, go another 15 seconds or so and we will be on your right. We are located on the Caribbean (Right) side of the highway and you can park in either the north or the south parking lot.
